In April’s box #344, there are 6 selected items. The info sheet is a guideline for the perfect insta beauty bucket list for your newsfeed. Very cutesy theme.

1.Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask.

A facial mask infused with ingredients such as lotus and seaweed for a youthful touch. First thing you’ll notice is that the scent does not smell nice, it smells like baby’s puke to me with abit of youghurt. It has real seaweed extracts and also has a grainy salt texture.

2.it cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder.

I didn’t know what to expect as i was opening the packaging up for this sample, it comes with a little round sponge and the pressed powder was already abit broken up so it ended up applying somewhat like loose powder in the pack. Texture is smooth and silky, with a translucent colour, easy to suit most skin tones. Does not give a white cast appearance when applied with the sponge, it also brightens up the complexion.

3.Urban Decay Hi fi Shine Ultra cushion Lip gloss in SPL.

I was deceived by the email showing a pic of my box with this in one of the darker red shades. But turns out most of us got this in shade SPL which is supposedly a holographic pink and blue duo shimmer gloss. Its like a duo chrome shade that shifts and can be worn alone or as a lip topper. Honestly it looks like one of those toy lip gloss you get from a kid’s barbie play makeup box so i legit gave this to my 4 year old for her play makeup. Because i for the life of me will not be able to pull that off. 

4.Makeup Forever Ultra HD Perfector in shade 6. 

Described as a blurring skin tint with spf 25, this is a lightweight product that helps blur imperfections, hydrate and enhance your complexion. According to the web there is only 4 shades available right now, but the newer range has up to 12 shades. I received the #6 which i find that its one shade darker than how I’d like my base to be as i am using Y245 for the ultra HD Foundation. However i do like the light feel for days that I’m not gonna be wearing full face makeup.

5.Peter Thomas Roth Skin to Die For, No Filter Mattifying Primer & Complexion Perfector.

I fell in love with the skincare from this brand and now I’m in love with their makeup products. This mattifying primer blends so smoothly and silky that it feels almost invisible to the touch. It also has a universal tint which easily blends with any skintone. 

6.Miu Miu Eau de toilette - Leau Rosee

In April last year, i received the ‘Leau Bleue’ so it seems fitting to receive this scent in April this year. I didn’t like the one i got last year, but the Leau Rosee is much better and feminine, it smells of roses (obviously) but not overdone. Hence its more tolerable altho it still isnt a favourite of mine.

So that’s the round up for April’s box, I like all the other products this month. Except the only dud in here would be the UD gloss, whats up with that colour given.
