For the month of November, Allure has decided to give all sunscribers a pampering diy spa treatment with various mask types for your different parts. If you’re one who really enjoys masks you should also checkout Facetory they are a subscription service that is inspired by the booming korean mask industry. 

Glamglow supermud cleansing treatment.

Glamglow is one of those brands that was hyped up in youtube and especially from watching my favourite youtuber jeffree star. When it comes to mud masks and glittery masks, glamglow has got it all. 

Now this supermud cleansing treatment is one of those charcoal masks that dries and absorbs the oils from your pores. It has a pore-matrix technology that vacuums out the impurities stuck in the pores. This is quite common in most mud charcoal masks so unfortunately i do not see anything special in this particular product.

However, upon application and usage i do feel likethe product works as intended and my skin does feel cleaner.

   

Patchology Flashpatch rejuvenating eye gels.

Starting with the eyes, these are jelly like eye gel pads that when strategically placed on your under eyes creates a cooling sensation to brighten up the eyebags. They lasts quite long than the average eye patch due to the gel like substance. And whats great is that they stick well and do not slide off that bad when youre in a sitting position.

Glow recipe Watermelon glow jelly sheet mask.

This is a mask with an interesting concept, its fully jelly instead of the normal sheet material. I must admit that it looks yummy to eat but not as easy to open up and place on the face because it was super slippery. Once on, it was semi slipping off and semi on my face so i had to lie down for a while to get good use out of the mask. It was super cooling and refreshing to wear this due to the gel material which always give off a cooling feel. And masks like the gel ones don’t feel tight when its dry like the sheet masks do. In fact it feels like you can wear it forever without it drying on the face. When removed, my face remains cooling to the touch and refreshed like i just washed up with a splash of cool water on a hot summer day. 

Starskin exfoliating foot mask socks.

The ones that I received doesn’t say that its a double layer foot mask socks so i was not entirely sure if its the same product or if the older version was repackaged. But this exfoliating socks works in a way that it stimulates all the dead skin on your foot to start peeling off after use.

The idea of peeling off dead skin on the feet feels super satusfying for me and there was even some reviews that shows the entire foot peeled off in one layer. But unfortunately for me it took several days for the entire foot to be exfoliated. I had to keep chipping off the dead skin otherwise it makes a scraping sound on the bedsheets when you move throughout the night. But it does work, end of the day your feet feels cleaner and the thought of that much dead skin it was pilling on was definitely worth it to mask on.

Lapcos pearl brightening mask.

The pearl mask has a very milky and creamy essence which is lightly scented with white flower. Masks fits well into the face contours with enough space between the eye openings and also covers the chin well. This mask has a brightening effect that will help brighten up dull complexion and revitalize dark spots. After one usage, it moisturizes my entire face and makes it appear glowy. However i really don’t like the after feel of the milkyness on my face because it was almost greasy and since i have an oily t zone i knew it wasn’t good to clog my forehead and nose with so i wiped down a little bit at the tzone then left the rest on the cheeks to be absorbed.

Kocostar rose lip mask.

Another lip mask to try, i am loving the jelly lip masks recently because they’re quite fun to wear. They are this oversized jellies in the shape of your lips that covers your entire lips no matter the size (big or small!) you can almost feel the sensation stimulating the blood vessels in the lips to enhnace the shape and size at the same time moisurizing the lips to make it more supple for lipstick preparation. 

Invisibobble the traceless hair ring.

As a little extra help for when you’re masking, allure also included 3pcs of the invisibobble hair rings in variety of colours. I got the light pink glittery hair ring which i guess is perfect for my 5 year old to use since I don’t particularly like to use the rings.
