This month Allure’s beauty box looks slightly empty. But nevertheless there are actually 5 products inside.

1. Living proof full dry volume blast styling & finishing spray.

This styling and finishing spray is full of molecules called ETAS that volumizes and styles hair in place. It aims to deliver texture and volume to flat limp hair. I have received a full can from my previous Boxycharm before too and the spray is non greasy, plus does not leave white flakes all over either. 

2. Kiehl’s midnight recovery eye. 

Cream has a lightweight texture that is suitable for the eye area, no irritating scent clogging up the eye. However with eye products usually i do not get fast results hence it is abit hard to test the effectiveness of this product. 

3. Original beauty blender Micro mini (pink).

I received a green one from my previous Sephora Play box before and these are very handy cute little sponges for spot concealing or for reaching the inner corners that the bigger blenders cannot reach into. 

4. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in the shade Seduce.

Seduce is a warm rosy brown shade that pulls off the natural look when dusted on the cheeks. As you can see from the swatch, using the fingers does not transfer the product well, but using a blush brush on the cheeks will get you the pigmentation you need. I love Tarte’s clay blushes tho they do not last 12hour long for myself. 

5.Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream.

This is the best moisturiser I’ve received so far! It has a thick whipped cream texture but once you spread it on your face it instantly melts and turns soft just like cream does and it also fully absorbs without being greasy or sticky. 

Overall i like the September’s box with the exclusion of the Living proof hair product that i am unable to use now due to my dreads.
