IPSY GLAM BAG
SEPTEMBER 2017
September 2017’s bag was one of the lost & found archives in my iphone’s chock full of photo gallery. And so i surprisingly found some older Ipsy bags on here. Lets make it short & simple for this one.
1. Skin food Black sugar mask wash off.
Happy to report that i already have this in full size and its amazing to use! The sample size is quite generous, the full size never seems to finish off. Scent is sweet but not overwhelming, the sugar granules are just nice in size not too big nor too tiny. What i love the most is that once you begin scrubbing on your face, the sugar dissolves and turns softer so that it doesnt hurt the skin in an abrasive manner. After washing off you can tell youve got some of the dullness and stubborn white heads off.
2. Elizabeth Mott pop eye shadow in Toasted.
Toasted is a bronze metal shade which I rarely would wear unless in the middle of the eye as i find the colour suits more for mature age group.
3. Luxie Rose gold Medium angled shading eye brush 207.
Yes i love Luxie brushes. Cruelty free, pretty pink handle, rose gold ferrule. This angled brush is great for blending in the crease of the eye.
4. Smasbox Photo finish Radiance Foundation Primer.
Unlike the normal clear silicon primer, this version of Smashbox’s primer has brightening highlighting particles that gives off a much more radiant appearance. Its glimmering gold but once blended out across the face, appears more natural. Only thing I dislike is the scent of the primer, has a plastic chemical sort of smell that sticks in your head. On a bright side, it does help to make your foundation above appear brighter and last longer.
5. Pixi by petra blush duo in honey peach.
Right off the bat, I did not swatch this as i gave it away in a swap. The blush seems to be too shimmery for me and I’d usually prefer a matte version for blushers. The duo colour does seem pretty tho.
Hence thats all for September’s glam bag! On a side note, i do love the spiky matte black bag tho. I use it again as a makeup bag to bring to work.
